Hello and welcome to Critter and Bloom! My name is Linda, and this is the place where I hope I can bring a little joy into your life with my playful and colorful drawings and patterns. If you love bright colors, beautiful flowers, and cute critters, then this is the place for you!
I am not a trained artist or an especially talented designer, but I do love to draw, and I’ve never met a craft I didn’t like. It has always shocked me when people ask for my work, but my little doodles and my various craft projects really do seem to make people happy and that inspires me to keep creating and improving. All of my work tries to capture that innocence and wonder we have as children everytime we discover something new or feel the warmth and comfort of home and family. It is my hope that my designs help you feel that joy and nostalgia as well.
It is also true that the world is not always the friendliest of places and life can throw more than a few curveballs at us all, but sometimes a simple reminder that you are enough and that you are not alone is all you need to make it through the day. The sight of a beautiful flower or an adorable animal can lift your spirits in so many ways and when we surround ourselves with our favorite patterns, life gets just a tad better. One of my goals with my artwork and my products is to help everyone find those little moments of happiness, hope, and comfort that make even the hard days easier to handle.
